Is the honeymoon over for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden?
They were spotted everywhere together, all the time. (Except that one time they broke up which happened to be around the time Nicole found out she was pregnant with her first child..) But have you noticed they haven’t been seen together in recent months? Bedhead over at CeleBitchy took notice and even drudged up a bunch of solo appearances by Nicole Richie. Star magazine is reporting that Nicole is feeling “like a single parent” with hubby Joel Madden being busy with his band and constantly being on the road. Of course Nicole knows what she signed up for when she married a musician, but after having two children and carrying much of the load for some time, Nicole seems to be getting tired of it.
To top it off, the Australian version of “The Voice” offered Joel a role as judge and he accepted – without telling Nicole about it. What that means is Joel will be in Australia for a few months filming the show. Nicole isn’t very keen on following him there with her two children in tow and feels it’s best to stay in Los Angeles where her family is. Looks like we won’t be seeing them strolling the red carpet together anytime soon.
Hopefully these two kids can work it out, they seem to have a good foundation, but with Joel gone all the time that foundation will crumble, and it sounds like the cracks have already started. Turn down the show, Joel, some things are more important than exposure.
