Can you imagine approaching your local grocery store’s checkout line, just to see a hideous, glossy Kardashian magazine staring right back at you??

A nightmare yes, but one that might become a reality!

Apparently the famous (and infamous, whatever you prefer), family is making an attempt to better control their image by putting out their own magazine, and it looks like they are close to landing a deal!

The NY Post reports that, due to all of the negative press the fame-hungry clan received after Kim K.’s fake marriage, they (their mom Kris Jenner) thought up the fancy idea to launch a magazine with their name attached to it. This way, they could present themselves in a more flattering light. Or so they think.

So far, it looks like American Media Inc. (which owns big mags like Star, The National Enquirer, and Shape), is taking the bait. The magazine might even have its debut as early as this spring. AMI and a Kardashian rep were not available for comment, so no ‘official’ word yet.

Can you guys imagine the horror of a Kardashian magazine?!
