Johnny and Vanessa Split

Depp and Paradis have broken up? 

It looks like the splitsville rumors are true. Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis are no longer a couple.

On one hand this makes me a little giddy, I have been a fan of Johnny’s for about 25 years and think he is a damn fine catch, but really, I love Vanessa and thought they were truly a GREAT couple. Their relationship seemed so stable, grounded and loving. Hollywood wasn’t a part of their family life and they both seem like amazing parents.

Johnny and Vanessa have been together for 14-years but never married. I thought for sure they were going to be the Goldie and Kurt of my generation. Sadly, it looks like this isn’t the case.

The couple have two children, Lily Rose, 12, and Jack, 9.

Despite the split I expect these two to have a very “clean” split, meaning there won’t be tell-alls, interviews and custody battles. Lucky for their children that they have such classy parents. Maybe the rest of Hollywood should take note.
