So now that we are over the initial shock of Heidi Klum and Seal‘s plans to divorce everyone is left wondering how their seemingly “perfect” marriage went wrong.
We hear it might have something to do with Seal’s temper.
TMZ is reporting that Heidi has grown tired of Seal‘s out of control temper, that it has taken a toll on her over the years and she is worried about how it has affected their children. A source says her decision to divorce her husband of seven years wasn’t one made in haste, instead it was “a long time coming.”
We have seen Seal lose his cool on more than a few occasions with the paparazzi over the years, not that I can blame him, their intrusiveness must get tiresome, but the way he handled the situations was sometimes ice cold.
Take for instance in the video above, a photographer tries making a connection with Seal by asking for a handshake. Seal responds with, “Why would I shake your hand? Why would I shake hands with scum?” He then continues to berate the photographer while his wife stands nearby, not making eye contact with anyone or speaking. She seems very uncomfortable with the situation. In another video, Seal keeps his mouth shut but you can see the smoke coming out of his ears when the paparazzi surround his car as he and Heidi leave a restaurant. Heidi, again, makes no eye contact and says nothing. As he starts up the vehicle, he revs it loud and strong, then while pulling out onto the street he punches the accelerator, nearly hitting another car. Of course using the paparazzi as an example of his temper isn’t really fair, BUT it does show that Seal can be a snippy diva who you probably don’t want to mess with when his fuse is lit.
The fact that Heidi seems so submissive during those moments when Seal might go off indicates to me that she doesn’t want to do anything to escalate the situation. In this video Seal orders her to “get into the car” as she tries to help with the children’s car seats. Nothing extreme, but it might show that he was very controlling in the relationship.
What are your thoughts about Heidi and Seal splitting? Do you think his temper had anything to do with it? You just never know what goes on behind closed doors, and I expect more dirt to surface about this couple soon. A shame.
