Demi is obviously not handling the split well
Demi Moore may be headed to rehab after being rushed to the hospital Monday night for an issue pertaining to substance abuse.
The recently estranged wife of Ashton Kutcher, Moore, 49, was taken to the hospital after a call was placed to 911 just before 11:00 P.M. Monday night. She is currently receiving treatment, and although it is not known what her medical condition was, reports suggest it was a substance abuse related problem. Demi has since been transferred to a “facility” where she will receive ongoing treatment. Most likely, rehab.
Her publicist released the following statement via TMZ: ”Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi Moore has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”
We all know that “exhaustion” equals “bender” in Hollywood. Partying until your heart goes out – or your nose caves in. I am a fan of Demi’s and would hate to see her Lohanize herself at this point in her life and career. Hopefully she’ll find a gorgeous, strong man (closer to her own age) who will help her realize she is timelessly beautiful, talented and lovable, because right now I don’t think she’s feeling she is any of those things.
