Vanessa says she and Johnny Depp are just fine, thank you.
There has been a rash of celebrity breakups lately, couples like Demi and Ashton, Heidi and Seal, and yes, you’ve probably heard about Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp too.
Responding to those nasty breakup rumors is Paradis herself and she is flat out denying them.
A French panelist at the Cafe de Flore premiere in Paris on Tuesday asked Vanessa about how she has been handling the rumors as of late. She replied that there are so many rumors she doesn’t take any of them seriously anymore.
“It depends which rumor. Here, this is one which could hurt my family. After that they say that we have 52 houses in France, we separate in winter, we get married every summer. Me, I’m in my 12th pregnancy. All this is, I don’t know, because the Queen of England didn’t lose her teeth this week and there’s nothing happening.”

I am going to go ahead and take Vanessa’s word for it, she and Johnny never really seem to give the media much mind, so this probably isn’t a big deal for them. They’ll just move on, keep living their lives and wait for time to prove the rumors wrong. They don’t have publicists releasing statements about it and they’re not doing exclusive gossip rag interviews. This is why I love them. And I am thrilled they aren’t broken up.
