Leslie Carter Dead at 25

Aspiring singer Leslie Carter dies 

The sister of Nick and Aaron Carter, Leslie Carter, has died at the tender age of 25.

The cause of death is not known at this time, but we will keep you updated as we learn more. She died Tuesday evening in upstate New York.

The Carter family said in a statement Tuesday night:

“Our family is grieving right now and it’s a private matter. We are deeply saddened for the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, Leslie Carter. We request the utmost privacy during this difficult time.”

Leslie Carter leaves behind her husband, Mike Ashton, and their 10-month old baby.

My heart goes out to Nick and Aaron and to everyone who loved her. Losing a sibling is very difficult, 10-years after losing my brother I still miss and think of him every single day. The road ahead will not be easy for these two (or their other siblings) in the coming years, and hopefully neither fall back on drugs to soothe the pain, which is so easy to do in times like these.
