Roseanne Barr Running For President

Roseanne for President? 

I know this sounds like a joke, but it’s not, at least not from my end, but Roseanne Barr is entering the Presidential race.

The controversial and very outspoken actress has filled out all the required paperwork to become the Green Party‘s nominee in the bid for President of the United States of America. If foreigners hated us before, just imagine what they would think if Roseanne were Prez.

Despite people not taking Roseanne serious (she is), she’s tweeting up a storm about it as I write this. Some of her tweets include:

I am running for Green Party nominee for POTUS. I am an official candidate. I am4 the Greening of America&the world. Green=peace/justice

if ppl will merely do as I tell them to do just this one time, I promise everything will get a lot better quickly4 the majority. #nutn2lose

I am pro the Middle and Working Classes, who are being strangled 2 death by dem&repub. Green Party is 4 small business&social safety net.

the green party offers the only hope that exists on this planet. To rid ourselves of war and injustice, done in the name of money. UTOPIA!

As you probably recall, Roseanne was blasted way back in the day for her terrible rendition of the National Anthem where she literally screamed the lyrics, but she tried to redeem herself last year when she gave it another whirl:

Funny thing is, she’s not faring too badly on the TMZ poll.

Well, at least it livens things up a bit. I know she is controversial, but in this process I believe she will at least bring awareness to some issues that need to be addressed. I can’t say I’ll hate the crazy publicity that will come of this…
