Dave Grohl and Dana Gould = Recipe for success!
The charismatic Foo Fighters’ frontman is will soon be breaking out in the television industry, as he has just signed on to executive produce a new comedy for FX. The show, which will star comedian Dana Gould, who also serves as the main writer, will be about a rock band on the brink of stardom that requires therapy in order to keep the band together, but end up with “a misanthropic couple’s therapist from Agoura on the brink of divorce.”
Rolling Stone reports that Gould chose Grohl to be a part of the project because he thought the rocker had an awesome sense of humor and was pretty darn funny, which he totally is.
As of now, it’s unknown if Grohl will appear on the show (which is lacking a name as of yet), or will provide music for the soundtrack.
Well whatever his involvement, I’ll surely be watching it!
By the way, this is a “twofer” post, because included in it you get a peek at the Foo’s new video for “These Days” (click HERE to download a FREE copy from iTunes).
The video is super special because it includes footage from their December concert in Auckland, New Zealand, where they literally rocked the place so hard, that they actually caused earthquake-like tremors. Check it below!
