Nicki Minaj’s Creepy Roman Holiday Exorcism

Nicki Minaj’s controversial Grammys ensemble and performance wasn’t very chipper.

WTF did Nicki Minaj DO on the Grammy’s last night? She embarrassed herself, that’s what she did.

First off, I do NOT get the hype behind this no-talent, slept-her-way-to-the-top puppet who doesn’t have an original thought in that plastic candy head of hers.

Secondly, I found Minaj’s Grammy performance exorcism to be CREEPY. AS. HELL. and I don’t care who knows it. I despise discussing religion and politics, but I’m gonna do it here.

I hate that in this day and age there is all this weird demonic crap in music and in music videos. It’s overwhelming and to be honest with you, it makes me uncomfortable. Sure, I do think everyone is entitled to their own expressions and beliefs, but it has gotten so blatant. Come ON, Minaj’s performance was like watching a satanic ritual unfold in front of our eyes. I don’t want this anymore than an atheist wants to watch a church sermon at the Grammys.

It’s weird to me that religion is so often mocked, but levitating and offering yourself as a satanic sacrifice on National television is perfectly acceptable. Like I said, it just weirds me out. So go ahead and tell me that I’m a prude, or I’m old, or a holy roller, because that always seem to be the backlash for speaking your mind about these sorts of things. So be it. They talk about “selling your soul for rock n’ roll,” … well this is about as brazen as it gets, folks.

Just my opinion and I am sticking to it.

Watch Nicki’s Roman Holiday performance after the cut and you decide-  then take the poll to let us know your thoughs!

Agh, I missed part of the show and this was one of those parts. I did see the outfit, but not the levitating part until now. That is weird, but it sort of reminds me of the thing Gaga did (hence your comment about originality), where Gaga was all bloody. The gore I don’t mind so much but when you get into religion and basically replicate The Exorcist, that shiz is SCARY! I still have nightmares about that movie!

This part of the show was where I changed channels.

Thank goodness for PVR…skipped RIGHT through this part. Funny how everyone jumped on M.I.A. for flipping the bird, yet this was allowed to play out on live TV? I’d much rather kids see a quick finger than an exorcism/offering/antichrist display such as this one. Two thumbs down for this twit. Stop trying to be so outrageous, you’re not being original, you’re just being disgraceful.
