The family of Whitney Houston is trying to prevent Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina from ending up like her mother.

Having a taste for drugs at a young age, it was often speculated that Whitney did drugs with her daughter. Reports that she often smoked crack around Bobbi when she was a little girl have also surfaced since her death. True or not, it’s no surprise why Bobbi Kristina is into drugs, and it’s also no surprise that she may be following in her mother’s footsteps.

The Daily Beast is reporting that Bobbi Kristina disappeared after her mother’s funeral Saturday and family fears she may have been on a drug binge. Hours later she was found, allegedly doing drugs, and some members of the family wanted her to check into rehab right then and there while others wanted her to enter after her mother had been buried.

A source says the family is struggling and desperately wants to help Bobbi. “It’s a horrible situation for everybody. They tried to save Whitney, and it didn’t work. Now with Bobbi Kristina, they fear the same thing is happening again and they won’t be able to stop it either. Bobbi Kristina is all Ms. Cissy has left of Whitney. She’s so tired, but she’s ready to fight again to save her grandbaby.”

In early 2011 photos showing Bobbi Kristina snorting a white powder surfaced after an ex-boyfriend sold them to the National Enquirer. She supposedly entered rehab a short time later but her rep has denied everything in an attempt to hide the truth from the media.

Whitney Houston was buried Sunday at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ on Sunday after her body was discovered in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton on February 11.
