Enquirer Publishes Photo Of Deceased Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston deserves some damn respect

The National Enquirer has come under fire for publishing a photo of the late Whitney Houston in her casket.

The infamous magazine, or ‘smut rag’ as my mother-in-law calls it, reportedly placed the photo, which depicts Whitney Houston lying in a coffin wearing a dark dress, both on the cover as well as on the inside. There is also a picture of the same coffin in what looks like an empty viewing room.

Their cover headline empathetically reads (sarcasm intended), “Inside her private viewing”, while claiming the iconic singer was “buried in jewelry worth $500,000,” that she “wore her favorite purple dress,” and “had gold slippers on her feet.” Even more disturbing is the fact that this is coming from the same magazine that, last week, featured a photo reenactment of Houston’s death, where a model was photographed in a bathtub as well as sprawled out on the floor.

Well obviously this has rubbed people the wrong way. Although I think most people, or at least a good majority of people, have some decency within themselves and limits to what they would or would not publish, you’re always going to have soulless a-holes that are in it for the almighty dollar.
