AnnaSophia Robb is the New Carrie Bradshaw

AnnaSophia is Carrie Bradshaw in the new CW series 

Her face might not be as equine as Sarah Jessica Parker’s but that doesn’t mean she won’t play a mean Carrie Bradshaw.

AnnaSophia Robb (who?) has landed the much coveted role of Carrie Bradshaw on the CW’s upcoming prequel to HBO’s Sex and the City, The Carrie Diaries. Although her face and name aren’t exactly familiar, she has been in a handful of movies you may have seen. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Race to Witch Mountain and….well, that’s pretty much it. Apparently she’s been acting since she was 9, her first acting role was in a McDonald’s commercial and she hails from Denver. She’s got a website and on it she talks about “Changing the World” but mostly it’s just a bio with a gazillion photo galleries of herself.

AnnaSophia resembles Taylor Momsen but without all the grease stick eyeliner, trashiness and foul mouth. Just give her time…she hasn’t been corrupted yet.
