Jon Hamm Slams Hilton, Kardashian

Of course Jon Hamm hates Paris and Kim, he’s dreamy…

It’s so nice to see a man who not only has strikingly good looks, but also thinks with the right head.

Enter Jon Hamm, also known as the ravishing Don Draper on AMC’s Mad Men. Recently the handsome actor dished that he thinks Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian are a waste of space. Welcome to the club, Jon.

Jon complains that reality shows and media have rewarded “idiots” generously and catapulted them into the spotlight where they are fawned over and “celebrated.” Can’t say I argue with him there. Hamm spoke with Britain’s Elle magazine and unleashed his disdain for such “stars”:

“We’re at a place where the idea of being ‘elite’ is somehow considered a negative. Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f—ing idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly. And incuriousness has become cool, it’s celebrated. It doesn’t make sense to me.”

I just knew I loved him. Jennifer Westfeldt, you are one lucky girl.
