Kim Kardashian Responds To Jon Hamm

Jon Hamm and Kim Kardashian: A war of words

After word got around to Kim Kardashian (Google alerts?) that she might not have such a fan in Jon Hamm, the famewhore extraordinaire took to her Twitter feed to speak her mind.

As you might recall, the hunky Mad Men star recently opened up about how he (and most of the world) feels about fame-hungry reality celebs, saying, “Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f—ing idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly. And incuriousness has become cool, it’s celebrated. It doesn’t make sense to me.”

Clearly Hamm was just speaking the truth and most people seemed to agree, but not Kim K. who attempted to take the higher road by tweeting, “I just heard about the comment Jon Hamm made about me in an interview. I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life. We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another. Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless.”

Her response was kind of confusing to me because I’m pretty sure she doesn’t do half (if any) of the things she mentions, other than star in that awful (but popular!) television show of hers. Sure she might ‘okay’ certain projects or fashion items being sold, but if it weren’t for Ryan Seacrest or her puppet master mother Kris Jenner, the girl would be lost. Also, what has she written other than a slew of mindless tweets and a self-obsessed blog?
