Chris Rock Flips Out On Cameraman

Chris Rock goes bananas 

How dare anyone ask Chris Rock anything that has to do with politics…how dare they!

Too bad for a cameraman, who had to learn the hard way that you just don’t do it.

TMZ just obtained some footage from January, which shows somebody asking Rock if they could take a photo with him. The man is seen chatting up the star with some casual conversation. Once he and Rock take the picture, Rock tries to go on with his business, but the guy quickly begins asking him to elaborate on his controversial Tea Party stance.  Once you hear the guy say, “When you said the Tea Party was insane and racist…” you hear Rock saying, “Hey, hey, hey” and then BAM! No more sound, cameras-a-flying, and no more. It seriously looks like a brawl were about to ensue, but we are left wondering what the heck just happened.

Well apparently that ‘guy’ was a conservative writer named Jason Matter who, while attending the Sundance Film Festival Rock was, decided to ask him to expand on his feelings about the political group.

I had almost forgotten that Rock had some strong opinions about the Tea Party that he shared with Esquire last year. He told the magazine, “When I see the Tea Party and all this stuff, it actually feels like racism’s almost over. Because this is the last — this is the act up before the sleep. They’re going crazy. They’re insane.”

So far there’s no comment from Rock’s people other than word that his attorney is reviewing the video. Tisk, tisk, temper, temper.
