Talk To A D-List Celeb For Cash

Have you ever wanted to pick up the phone and randomly talk to say, Michael Lohan, his ex-wife (and Lindsay’s mother) Dina, or even his on-and-off again psycho girlfriend Kate Major?

Yeah, me neither, but apparently you can if you’re willing to fork up some serious dough.

TMZ ran a story about a new job Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub (and I use the term ‘star’ lightly) acquired which pays her a whopping $1,000 an hour, and it doesn’t involve taking her clothes off (thank the LAWD).

The company who hired Staub is called Dial A Star, and they just opened for business last week. It’s a phone service that allows fans to call their favorite D-list celebrities and talk to them, each with different rates per minute. As I was looking at their ‘celebrity’ roster, to tell you the truth, I don’t even know whom half of these people are.

Other than the freakish Lohan clan (excluding Lindsay), you can talk to ‘Octomom’ Nadya Suleman for $12 bucks a minute, Tila Tequila for $20 a minute, or the Jersey Shore cast’s old roommate Angelina Pivarnick for $15 a minute, but then again, why would you really want to?

The business idea is great, and I guess they’re making money, but couldn’t they pick B or even C-list celebrities for crying out loud?
