Amanda Bynes Arrested For DUI

Amanda Bynes was busted around 3 a.m. Friday morning for driving under the influence of alcohol.

It all went down after the actress was driving in West Hollywood and after attempting to pass a police car, sideswiped the cruiser instead. The fender bender only caused minor paint damage to the cop car and Bynes’ BMW, but for obvious reasons, tipped the officer off to further investigate the driver.

After pulling the 26-year-old over, the policeman found out she was indeed intoxicated although at this time it remains unclear what her blood alcohol level was when arrested.

Bynes was then booked at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station, with bail set at $5,000. She remains behind bars at this time.

Apparently it was just a matter of time until Bynes was caught drinking and driving. TMZ is reporting that on St. Patrick’s Day this year, she was seen looking “extremely intoxicated”, but even after one of their cameramen warned the valet at the Greystone Manor in L.A. not to let her behind the wheel, she ended up driving away.
