“Once Upon a Star”: A Groupie’s Tell-All

Rock stars, celebrities, groupies, sex, and rock n’ roll, that is basically how one could sum up the latest trashy book I read called, “Once Upon a Star,” by ex(?) groupie Peggy Trentini.

Yeah, I skipped the”drugs” because they were left out of this book but were obviously a huge part of the scene. The whole tell-all book felt like a half told story, let’s call it a ‘polished’ version of what really happened.

Peggy Trentini tells you straight up, she loved the fast lane and she loved famous, powerful men who were in it. She seemed to have no concerns telling her story about sleeping with celeb after celeb, usually within minutes or hours of meeting them. Getting in her pants was obviously not a problem to anyone who wanted in, and she enjoyed the shopping trips and private plane rides she received in exchange for being treated like a doormat with each new famous guy she slept with. Yeah, none of them treated her with much respect but each time she thought she could make them fall in love with her.

Trentini “dated” Sly Stallone, who was boinking who knows how many other women at the time, and was involved with his then girlfriend Jennifer Flavin. But Peggy clung onto him, hoping she would be his main squeeze one day, and not just his “peg” board. Heh. It never happened. He treated her like a total douchebag and she couldn’t see it until years later.

Another actor Trentini dated was General Hospital’s Jack Wagner, who was just recently voted off Dancing with the Stars. It seems Jack was quite a party boy who could go for days on end with a little chemical help (it was only implied) before zonking out in a dead heap. In fact, a photo of Jack passing out with a big smile on his face is included in the book. I guess we can see why Jack and Heather Locklear got along famously for so long. *snooooort*

Other guys she schlepped off of were Vince Neil, Billy Idol, Nic Cage, Johnny Depp, Sting, Mick Jagger, Kevin Costner and others. Peggy almost always drank herself to the point where her clothes practically fell off and from what I can tell girlfriend MUST have extreme daddy issues. However I will say that her stories are salacious and juicy and I DID love reading about her sexual escapades, but I also kinda felt a little dirty after reading this one. You might want to double bag it.
