The World’s first “pregnant man” Thomas Beatie has separated from his wife of nine years, Nancy.

Beatie announced the news during a taping of The Doctors, which is set to air on May 7th. Beatie, the first transgender man to give birth, also revealed that he has completed his female-to-male gender reassignment surgeries and says Nancy has yet to see his completed package. My words, not his. Heh.

After bearing three children between 2008-2010 the couple have decided to take a break. “Like all marriages, we have our ups and downs, and we’re going through a rough patch right now. At the moment, we’re separated,” Beatie told The Doctors.

No word on if either party plans on filing for divorce.

A little trivia for you trivia mongers out there, Yuval Topper, an Israeli transgendered man, also gave birth on December 28th, 2011.
