Shakira Getting $30-$60M Deal with Live Nation & Sony

 Shakira has been faring pretty well lately

This year might end being Shakira’s most lucrative one yet, if things go as planned for the Colombian singer.

Rolling Stone is reporting the 35-year-old beauty is close to closing a deal with Sony and Live Nation that could earn her somewhere between $30 and $60 million dollars. In exchange for that pretty penny, the hip-shaking goddess will churn out three albums.

The two companies will be teaming up to release Shakira’s new records together, and will be sharing profits from recorded music, sponsorships, and merchandising. Sony will be handling the distribution.

Just four years ago, Shakira ditched Sony for a decade-long deal with Live Nation, which reportedly got her somewhere from $70 to $100 million. Her last album, Sale el Sol, was released in 2010.

I guess the singer’s not doing too shabby these days. Those signature sexy belly dance moves of hers sure ended up paying off!
