Dave Grohl Tips Well

As y’all can probably tell, we love Dave Grohl over here at Celebrity Smack, and he pretty much can do no wrong.

Even when rock’s infamous drama queen Courtney Love made foolish statements claiming that Grohl had hit on her daughter Frances Bean, we knew it was a lie and she’s full of it.

Anyway, back to Grohl being a nice guy…and one of the nicest rockstars of our time. According to the Philadelphia inquirer, the Foo Fighters frontman visited Philadelphia over Memorial Day weekend to attend a wedding. While there, he stayed at the Rittenhouse Hotel in Center City (Friday and Saturday). Both nights Grohl opted for a nightcap at the hotel’s bar (he had just one drink Friday, and a few on Saturday), and both nights he left a $1,000 tip! You do the math, but I think they got a little over 20%!

As a former server in the restaurant industry (I served my time..about 10+ years), I think this gesture was a lovely one. Bless you Dave Grohl! What a class act.
