Lindsay Lohan in Car Crash, Hospitalized

Lindsay Lohan has been involved in quite a serious car crash, TMZ is reporting.

Friday afternoon Lindsay was driving her black Porsche when she somehow (speeding or not paying attention obviously) collided with the backend of a semi-truck on Pacific Coast Highway. Her car has been totaled and Lindsay is currently in the hospital undergoing tests. She did not take the ambulance ride to the hospital but did go there immediately, so she obviously wasn’t seriously hurt.

The entire front end of her car was demolished in the crash, the window was destroyed and the back bumper flew off as a result of the impact.

Lindsay just isn’t very good behind the wheel.

We’ll keep you updated on the news as we hear it.

UPDATE: Lindsay has been released from the hospital (so we hear, but no confirmation) and no alcohol was involved. Shocking? Lindsay’s assistant was also in the car at the time of the crash and is currently in the hospital with non-serious injuries. The Porsche was a rental – heh.
