Avril Lavigne Partially Shaves Her Head

Okay, this is becoming some sort of trend now.

First Anne Hathaway and Charlize Theron cut their hair off (for film roles), and now poppy punkster Avril Lavigne does it, sort of.

The 27-year-old was seen in Paris sporting a punk-inspired semi-shaved head, while rocking some pretty serious eyeliner. To round off the look, Lavigne rocked a leather jacket. She’s tough yo! (Check her out at X17online).

Lavigne has been spending a lot of time recently in the City of Lights. Just last month, the singer was spotted doing lunch at La Maison de la Truffle with Nickleback’s Chad Kroeger. Although it’s unknown if the two were or are romantically involved, what we do know is that they were working in the studio together on Lavigne’s upcoming album, which will be due out sometime this year.

I wouldn’t necessarily classify myself as a fan of Avril’s music, though she does have some pipes on her, but I’m sort of liking the hair. I think it fits her.
