The gossip world has been going nuts with the Chris Brown and Drake bar brawl and this is only the beginning.
If you missed it, story goes Brown and fellow rapper Drake got into a little tiff at the New York City nightclub WIP Wednesday night. Brown (and his lawyer Mark Garagos) are claiming Drake “attacked” him, but it seems Drake’s peeps are saying otherwise.
According to TMZ, it all started with Drake giving the finger to Brown’s entourage, along with some smack talk. Brown then did the same back, and that’s when Drake felt “disrespected” and enlisted his posse to kick some Breezy butt.
Immediately after the fight Brown tweeted about it and posted a picture of his face with a small gash on his chin. He also apparently called his attorney right away. A source told Radar, “Chris quickly called his lawyer in the minutes after the attack. Contrary to reports Chris didn’t flee from the scene, it was a very fluid situation and Chris just wanted to make sure that his girlfriend, Karreuche Tran, was safe. Luckily for Chris, his attorney happened to already be in New York City and he has been talking with detectives from the NYPD and with management at the nightclub. Chris, Karreuche and other members of his entourage will fully cooperate with law enforcement.”
Seeing that Brown is still on felony probation for what he did to Rihanna a few years ago, he is trying to avoid any more legal trouble. The source said, “Chris will do whatever is asked of him and will be formally questioned about the club melee.”
Well that’s smart of him to be so willing to “fully cooperate” with authorities, but getting into the brawl in the first place…not so much.
