Ronan Farrow Insults Dad Woody Allen On Father’s Day

Talk about “Burrrrrrn!”

Woody Allen’s 24-year-old son with ex-wife Mia Farrow sent his father some choice words via Twitter on Father’s Day, and it was oddly sad and funny at the same time.

Ronan Farrow (whose birth name was Seamus Farrow before he changed it), has never forgiven his father for marrying his adopted sister Soon-Yi, and once vowed that he never will, and it’s apparent in his Father’s Day Twitter messages.

On Sunday Ronan tweeted out, “Happy Father’s Day – or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law’s day.” Ouch!

To add to that Twitter bruise, mom Mia replied to her son by retweeting with her simple response of “Boom”.

It doesn’t appear Allen has a Twitter account, but we’re pretty sure he got the message. Talented or not, I will always be grossed out by that family situation. Even though Allen never legally adopted Soon-Yi, he acted as a father figure to her since she was 7. I was adopted myself (as a baby) and my parents and brother (who was also adopted) are my parents and my brother. Blood wouldn’t make us any closer than we are now, and what Allen did…was just wrong.
