Nick, Vanessa Lachey Expecting A Baby Boy

Just a few months after Nick and Vanessa Lachey announced that they were pregnant with their first child, we learn the gender of the little bugger.

Vanessa took to her website to make the announcement Wednesday, saying, “It’s a BOY. Nick and I are incredibly excited to share the news that we are expecting a baby boy,” adding, “We can’t wait to meet him soon!!!”

Like all couples, Nick and his wife just wanted a “healthy baby”, but if Vanessa just had to choose if she wanted a boy or a girl, she said she would love to have a boy. In March she tweeted, “I’m excited either way! But I always wanted a boy first.” Well, she got her wish!

Wow, how time flies. Just a year and a half ago, the lovebirds announced their engagement, a year ago (well, more like 11 months) they get married, and now in just a few months we’ll have a little Lachey among us. Can somebody please slow this whole ‘life’ thing down?!
