Adam Lambert Performs ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ With Queen [VIDEO]

Queen and Adam Lambert perform "Bohemian Rhapsody" 2012

Queen’s European mini-tour with Adam Lambert kicked off this weekend in Kieve, Ukraine, and boy did they give an awesome performance!

The band performed at Independence Square for two hours at a benefit concert with Elton John, to support the Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation, according to FUSE.

After the show, Queen guitarist Brian May wrote on his website, “For a first show…it was a good first outing…I was at times quite mesmerised [sic] by what Adam was doing and sometimes forgot to play!! Ha ha.”

Wow, what a compliment coming from a musical legend like May!

I love, love, love how well Adam meshes with the band, pays his respects to the late Freddie Mercury, but yet still maintains his own style. He’s a true rockstar.

Regarding the undertaking, back in February Adam said, “I’m honored to be able to pay my respects to Freddie’s memory. He’s a personal hero of mine and I am deeply grateful for the chance to sing such powerful music for fans of this legendary band.”
