Ted Nugent’s Drummer Steals Golf Cart, Receives DUI

Ted Nugent’s drummer, Mick Brown, was busted Sunday night for driving under the influence of alcohol, after drunkenly leading police on a stolen golf cart chase.

TMZ reports that it all happened at the Waterfront Pavilion in Maine. According to police there, Brown supposedly hijacked a golf cart from backstage after playing a show, and proceeded to go drunk driving through a nearby town.

Apparently cops were soon involved in a ‘slow-speed chase’, because the boozy Brown wasn’t about to stop. At one point, an officer tried to hop on the cart and Brown allegedly shoved him off it to continue driving. Ultimately the chase ended, but it took two officers and a little tackling to get the 55-year-old Brown to the ground.

Police then drove Brown to Penobscot County Jail where he was charged with “Operating Under the Influence, Driving to Endanger, theft and assault”, and released on $4,000 bail, says TMZ.

Well it sounded like a fun, wild ride, but I bet Brown is regretting it all now, although you wouldn’t know by looking at that happy-go-lucky mug shot of his!
