Slash Receives Hollywood Star, Rips Axl Rose via Charlie Sheen

Former Guns ‘N Roses guitar player Slash received his official star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Tuesday (yay!), and Charlie Sheen wasn’t there just to be a spectator, but instead gave a supporting speech chock-full of cocaine jokes and jabs at Slash’s nemesis, Axl Rose.

Sheen began the ceremony by joking, “It’s quite fitting that Slash is getting a star on the very street Axl Rose will one day be sleeping on.” You can tell Slash loved that one, the way he laughs. Towards the end of the clip Sheen then says, “This star is going to be stepped on more than the coke we did in the 80s.” *And the crowd goes wild* (You can see the clip, courtesy of TMZ below.)

I don’t see this animosity between Slash and Rose dying down anytime soon. It was only a month ago Rose forbid Guns ‘N Roses concertgoers from wearing Slash t-shirts. What’s next with these two? Childish sure, but entertaining as hell!
