Uma Thurman Welcomes A Baby Girl

Happy news for Uma Thurman and boyfriend Arpad Busson, who welcomed a healthy baby girl into the world on Sunday, July 15.

A rep for the 42-year-old actress has made a statement saying, “Confirmed! Mom and baby are doing well!”

This is the couple’s first child together, but the third child total for both. Each previously had two children with their exes (Thurman with ex-husband Ethan Hawke, and Busson with ex-fiancé Elle Macpherson).

Thurman and Busson, who is a 49-year-old French financier, were previously engaged, but called it off back in 2009. The two reunited last year and announced their pregnancy in February.

Apparently the pregnancy came as a surprise, as Thurman wasn’t planning on having any more children, but nonetheless, a welcomed one. A source had told UsWeekly earlier this year, “Uma was definitely not planning on having another kid. It was a surprise, but she’s over the moon about it, very excited.”
