Even at 53, Madonna knows how keep herself controversial and in the news. We’re seeing a lot of that in her most recent tour!
So far, on this tour, we’ve seen Madge passive-aggressively take jabs at Lady Gaga, we’ve seen her flash some tittay, and there were also some reports she showed off her toned rump in Italy.
Pretty tame for the singer, but she also has been messing with the law. She recently raised eyebrows, and possibly a lawsuit, for flashing a picture of French National Front party leader Marine Le Pen, with swastika flashing on her forehead, while onstage in France, but that’s not all.
According to NME, Madge recently ignored Edinburgh, Scotland authorities, who asked she not perform onstage with a pistol and an AK47 rifle, like she had previously done before at London’s Hyde Park.
Apparently, the warnings came before Friday’s tragic Denver movie shooting, but had been reinforced following the devastating incident. Supposedly, officers planned on stopping the show if she defied them, but never went through with it when she did.
Madonna jokingly commented to the crowd about the possibility of having her show cut short by saying, “It’s great to be here in Scotland. Due to your laws here they might pull the plug on me so if they cut us off suddenly, write to your local MP.”
You can always count on the oh-so-non-narcissistic Madge to keep it classy!
