Cuba Gooding Jr. Is Wanted By Police For Assault

Cuba Gooding Jr. is a wanted man, but right now, not in a good way.

It’s been reported the actor has a warrant out for his arrest for allegedly shoving a female bartender Tuesday morning (around 2 a.m.) because she was attempting to kick him out of The Old Absinthe House in New Orleans.

According to an eyewitness (via OMG!), the 44-year-old actor got ticked off when fellow bar-goers began taking his picture, to which he shot back by cursing them out. Supposedly, this is when the female bartender approached the Jerry Maguire star to ask him to leave. Cuba then reportedly “shoved the bartender against the wall”, which prompted an employee of the bar to call 911. When the bartender warned the actor that the police had been called, he pushed her a second time.

Now New Orleans’ police are required to arrest him. As of now, he hasn’t been found, but it’s just a matter of time until he will be.

I remember a video Spicy posted of Cuba a couple years ago, showing the actor totally wasted (but in good spirits – pun?) at a bar in Spokane, Washington. Going along with the theme, the most recent stories I’ve read about the “Show me the money” star have also involved bars, but haven’t been so happy-go-lucky.

As OMG! recites, just this March multiple reports had been made about Cuba’s hard-partying ways. Not only stories of drunken debauchery, but also one that included Cuba behaving like a sexually harassing, total misogynist pig, one by the way, who is married with three sons. Side note: He married his high school sweetheart 24 years ago…ugh.

Anyway, this is not news to us here at Celebrity Smack. A reader named Amanda commented to Spicy’s post (back in 2010) saying, “Haha, omg, I live in Spokane and he has not left us with a good impression! He partys [sic] way too hard and hits on all the girls. He grabbed my butt, told my friend she had nice boobs, and asked us if we wanted to go back to his hotel and throw pickles at eachother!”

Yeah, nice guy. If, and if he gets jail time for this, let’s hope he takes that time to reflect on his douchey behavior.
