Katy Perry, John Mayer Share Date Night Wednesday

Katy Perry and John Mayer enjoyed each other’s presence again Wednesday night and were photographed together for the first time.

As you may recall, the two were spotted having dinner in WeHo sometime last week, while holding hands and cuddling, followed by a pizza party night over at Katy’s the next evening.

This time, the “Fireworks” singer and Mayer hit up Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont for dinner. An eyewitness tells UsWeekly that the date was definitely romantic and adds that they were “holding hands across the table”, and were seen kissing and laughing.

A source close to the situation reassures us that, as of right now, the two are just having fun. “They’re just hooking up right now,” the source said. “It’s not serious — yet!”

Spicy and I see this as an odd coupling (kind of like Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher), and that the newly single Robert Pattinson might possibly be a better match for Ms. Perry. They are friends, and sometimes the most beautiful romances start with friends…so?
