Gary Busey’s A Grandpa!

Gary Busey’s son, Jake Busey, has welcomed a baby girl into the world with fiancée April Hutchinson.

Autumn Rosalia Hutchinson Busey arrived on the planet on July 30 at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica. The first child of the Jake and April, Ms. Autumn weighed in at 8 pounds, 12 ounces.

The 41-year-old actor, musician, film producer, and now proud daddy said in a statement that he believes his daughter is their “miracle”.

“We spent our 20′s together, but separated and were apart for 11 years. Looking back on the last couple years, it appears that all of the tragedies and losses in my life were ultimately guiding us back together. I had lost 2 houses, a speed boat, an airplane, the Mercedes, the trucks, my dirt bikes, my health, and filed bankruptcy. Last year April let me stay with her when I was broke and homeless, as I had supported her in the nineties when we were first engaged.”

He continues, “During that time, we fell back in love, renewed our engagement and then she got pregnant! Autumn was our destiny. And she is so beautiful! And we are lucky that she is very healthy and happy. We are happily looking forward to this wonderful new life!”

Little Autumn is “completely healthy and arrived right on schedule. She’s a brunette, just like her mom,” the new dad said.

According to E!, Rosalie is Jake’s maternal grandmother’s name.

Aww! Many congrats to the happy, extended family! Man, love me some crazy Gary Busey-ness. What a blast that kid’s going to have having him as her grandpa!
