Elton John Takes Jabs At Madonna Again, She Apparently “Doesn’t Care”

It seems Elton John’s disgust for Madonna just keeps growing. Once friends, the two divas are on the outs once again, with Elton being the one to dish to the press about his disdain for the Material Girl.

During an interview recently with the Australian TV show “Sunday Night”, Elton had this to say about ol’ Madge: “She’s such a nightmare. Sorry, her career’s over, I can tell you that. Her tour’s been a complete disaster, and it couldn’t happen to a bigger c*nt.” He added that he also thinks the 53-year-old singer “looks like a…fairground stripper.”

Elton went on to say that he doesn’t appreciate the way Madonna has treated his friend Lady Gaga. Regarding this, he said, “She’s been horrible to Gaga.”

Regarding her latest album, Elton chimed in, “If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like ‘Ray of Light’ and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly.”

Anyway, apparently Madonna doesn’t give a hoot what her nemesis has to say anymore. According to The Huffington Post, a source close to Madonna said this regarding Elton’s verbal attack, “I honestly do not understand his need to trash the crap out of her over and over again. He says she has no authority, but apparently he has authority? He needs to hate on her. To say her tour is a disaster is just silly. She is selling out arenas, singing new material and a few classic hits. He will be singing the same old songs until he dies.”

The insider adds, “Ultimately, she doesn’t care what he has to say about her in public or private. She has nothing to prove to anyone, especially Elton John.”
