Randy Travis Gets Arrested For DWI

Randy Travis is going to have a lot of country song material to work with when he gets out of the slammer. The 53-year-old singer was arrested once again for an alcohol-related offense, but this time he was naked.

After crashing his car in Texas Tuesday night, Travis was arrested, while naked for some reason, right before midnight for driving while intoxicated, reports TMZ. Add to that, he was booked on a “retaliation and obstruction” charge (a felony) for verbally threatening an officer. Having refused to take a breathalyzer test, police drew blood to get his blood alcohol level, which I’m betting was around triple the legal limit. Just guessing here.

Right now Travis remains in police custody. He only suffered minor injuries, and luckily, no other people or vehicles were involved in the accident.

This is Travis’ second arrest in six months. If you recall, he was arrested back in February for public intoxication when police found him in a car in front of a church, reeking of alcohol, while also carrying an open bottle of wine. He told police he had just gotten in a fight with his girlfriend.

Good Lord, Travis better get some help or he’s going to end up killing himself or somebody else!
