Bobbi Kristina Honors Late Mom Whitney Houston By Getting Inked

Thursday, August 9, would have been Whitney Houston’s 49th birthday, and to pay tribute, Bobbi Kristina got her mother’s initials tattooed on the inside of her wrist. Boyfriend Nick Gordon got in on the action as well and matched her tattoo.

19-year-old Bobbi took to her Twitter Wednesday to hint at the surprise saying, “Once it hits 12 am mommy it’s your birthday& and I am going 2 celebrate it 2 the fullest! Bc YOU deserve it damn it, YOU deserve Nothing but the BEST!”

After the two got inked, Bobbi posted an Instagram pic of the work with the caption “Tat tat tatted YURP.. ;) now your truly ALWAYS with us mommy (: we love you @nickdgordon always & forever{<3}.”

Initials and names are usually a “no” for me when it comes to tattoos, but for a family member, I like the idea. I think Bobbi and Nick’s tats are a sweet reminder of how much Whitney meant to them and I think Mom would approve.
