Papa Joe Gets Drunk, Scores a DUI

Jessica Simpson‘s creepy pops Joe Simpson was busted for DUI last week while driving on Ventura Blvd.

Last Saturday, Simpson, 54, was driving in Sherman Oaks around 10:00 pm when he was pulled over by a police officer who suspected he was intoxicated. After determining his hunch was right, the cop cuffed and stuffed Papa Joe into his police car and hauled him to the police station where he was booked for DUI. Joe spent the night in jail and was released (without bail) just before 10:00 am the following day.

Prosecutor’s have not filed charges as of yet. He’ll likely be charged with DUI, but will only receive a slap on the wrist since it’s his first offense. And you know, he’s Jessica Simpson’s dad.
