Kristin Chenoweth Is Quitting ‘The Good Wife’ For Now Due To Injuries

Kristin Chenoweth Quits 'The Good Life'

Kristin Chenoweth is temporarily quitting her show The Good Wife because she needs some more time to heal from the injuries she sustained after an onset accident in July.

If you recall, the 44-year-old beauty was hit by a piece of lighting equipment on her show’s Brooklyn set in July, which caused her to fall down and hit her head on the pavement. She was cared for by paramedics and quickly taken to the hospital.

On Monday, the actress told UsWeekly, “It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to The Good Wife at this time. [I'm] getting better slowly, and thank you everyone for your concern.”

For now, Kristin’s last appearance on the show will be on the season 4 premiere which will air September 30th.

A source close to the actress said, “She may return in the future, but right now she needs more time to heal. The producers said she is welcome back any time.”

I love her…such a sweetheart. Hope she gets well soon!
