Slash Wants To Team Up With Sesame Street

How cool would it be to see Slash appear on Sesame Street? That’s one of my dreams, and apparently it is one of Slash’s too!

The ex Guns N’ Roses guitarist has made it known that he would be honored to make a guest appearance on the popular children’s show. He spoke to Rip It Up magazine about it saying, “Sesame Street have never approached me, though I would do it and I love kids.” He adds, “There’s no way I’d ever turn Sesame Street down, but I don’t know if parents would think I’m the best public influence on little kids.”

Well why the hell not? I think he’d be perfect!

Other musicians that have appeared on the kid’s show include REM, Beyonce, Katy Perry, and the legendary Mr. Johnny Cash (R.I.P.).

Between his music and film gigs, he’s a pretty busy guy, but why not throw a little television fun in there as well? He’s such a rockstar, he can handle it…and I would love to see him as a guest on Sesame Street. Let’s make this happen!
