Tony Scott Commits Suicide

Hollywood director Tony Scott committed suicide Sunday afternoon by jumping off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro, California.

Reports claim Scott parked his black Toyota Prius in an eastbound lane of the bridge before exiting his vehicle and jumping over the side “without hesitation.” His body was retrieved from the waters at approximately 4:30pm.

Tony Scott directed films such as Days of Thunder, Top Gun, and True Romance.

Scott is survived by his wife of 18-years, actress Donna Scott, and the couple’s twin sons. Tony is the younger brother of producer Ridley Scott. He was 68-years-old.
