John Mayer Gets Major Hair Cut After Breaking Katy Perry’s Heart

It figures, as soon as John Mayer and Katy Perry split, he goes and takes scissors to that dreadful, long hairdo he was sporting.

On Saturday, the 34-year-old musician showed his support to friend and comedian Mindy Kaling by joining her to celebrate her new show The Mindy Project, while sporting a new, clean haircut. The celebratory event was being held at the SkyBar in the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles, according to People.

Other than seeming like a womanizer who puts his foot in his mouth more often than he should, I really don’t have a problem with Mayer. I actually think he’s a pretty talented musician and I’m sure he’s quite charming. I also think that when he keeps his hair groomed, he’s quite handsome, so this haircut really raises his stock, you know?

He needs to keep this look up. I bet Katy Perry is pissed. Why couldn’t he have looked this good while they were dating? Hmph.
