Rosie O’Donnell Secretly Married In June, Reveals Details

Rosie O’Donnell has gone through a lot in the past year.

Back in December, it was announced the (now) 50-year-old had popped the question to her 40-year-old girlfriend Michelle Rounds, but sadly just six months later, Rounds was diagnosed with desmoids tumors; such a rare disorder, that it only affects three out of every million people. To add to that, O’Donnell suffered a heart attack earlier this month, though luckily, was able to live through it.

Well according to the comedian herself, there’s been just as much light as there has been darkness with the couple. O’Donnell took to her blog Monday to reveal she and Rounds secretly got married back in June, right before Rounds underwent her first surgery for her disease.

The couple tied the knot on June 9 “in private” with just the company of each other, though O’Donnell says that as soon as she and her new wife are in good health they’ll have the wedding of their “dreams, surrounded by those” they “cherish”.
