Ellen DeGeneres Receives Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

I know these days celebrities can sort of “buy” their star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame (every celeb except wannabes like Kim Kardashian), but when it comes to stars that really deserve it, Ellen DeGeneres is a name that comes to mind.

With over 30 years in the biz as a comedian, the 54-year-old (had to look that up, can you believe it?!), finally received her star on the Walk Of Fame Tuesday afternoon, the 2,477th star to be exact.

There to support Ellen along with a ton of fans were buddies Ryan Seacrest and Jimmy Kimmel.

During the ceremony Ellen joked, “It is amazing. I spent my entire career trying to conduct myself in a certain way making sure no one walks all over me only to get to a point where people are going to walk all over me. It means so much to me that everyone showed up.” Ha!

Congrats to Ellen, and girl, that vegan lifestyle is treating you well. I seriously thought she was in her 40s…she looks amazing at 54!
