Jessica Simpson Baby Bikini

Jessica Simpson shared a photo of her newborn baby Maxwell on Katie earlier this week and some people lost their ish when they saw what the baby was wearing.

A baby bikini.

Now, personally, when I first saw this photo I didn’t even see the bikini. Seriously. I saw an adorable fricking little Kewpie doll baby who looks a lot like her mama Jessica, and a little like Conan O’Brien as well. Now, I personally don’t see the big deal about the baby bikini, because, well, it’s UH-dorable. It’s not like the baby is in a sequin stripper bikini or anything. The baby doesn’t have makeup on or doesn’t look sexual in any way. I think people are overreacting. But not everyone agrees with me. Some random tweets from people who don’t:

–Why on earth is Jessica Simpson dressing her BABY in a skimpier bikini than I would ever wear?! Note the key word; BABY. Just disturbing!!

–WTF why is she wearing a bikini she is just a baby!

–A bikini!! Sorry not appropriate

I think she looks adorable and the bikini seems fine to me. You see little girls wearing bikinis at the beach..no biggie. Now Toddlers & Tiaras on the other hand…not okay.

At least she has something on! Unlike most the babies you see on the beach that have nothing on but a diaper (or even less!).

I think it’s cute! I live in hawaii and I see it all the time here. I even have a pic of my daughter when she was a baby in a bikini. For people to think it’s wrong or disturbing is ridiculous!
