Andy Williams Dead At 84

Legendary singer Andy Williams has passed away at 84 after a long battle with bladder cancer. The crooner died while at his home in Branson, Missouri, where he owned the very popular Moon River Theatre, which he named after the famous song he sang in the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Williams was considered one of the most popular vocalists in the United States during the1960s, and at that time was signed to the biggest recording contract in history. In his entire career he sold over 100 million albums. He was also known for his work on The Andy Williams Show, a variety television program in which he served as the host.

Williams is survived by his wife Debbie and three children, Robert, Noelle, and Christian.

Rest in peace Mr. Williams.
