First Look At Scarlett Johannson As ‘Psycho’ Star Janet Leigh

Scarlett Johannson Making Alfred Hitchcock Biopic

When I heard that Scarlett Johannson was going to star in the forthcoming movie about Alfred Hitchcock, I was psyched.

Not only was I thrilled that the film, simply named Hitchcock, would be a biopic about the legendary “Master of Suspense” director Alfred Hitchcock, but I was also relieved this wasn’t going to be another one of Hollywood’s failed attempts at a remake, as was the late 90s version of one of Hitchcock’s most famous films, Psycho. Interestingly, this movie incorporates Psycho, but in a different way.

According to sources, the biopic will revolve around the making of the 1960s thriller, and will go into depth on Hitchcock’s relationship with his wife Alma.

Johannson, 27, will be portraying the film’s star Janet Leigh, who played the character Marion Crane. Also in the flick, playing the iconic Hitchcock, none other than Anthony Hopkins (bows down), and Helen Mirren will play his spouse. Jessica Biel will also make an appearance as Psycho star Vera Miles, who plays Marion’s sister Lila Crane in the hit.

I love anything and everything to do with biographies, and given the subject, I won’t be missing this one!
