Olivia Wilde Says Her Divorce Made It Feel ‘Like Her Vagina Died’

Olivia Wilde Talks About Her Divorce

When it comes to making priceless quotes about failed past relationships, Olivia Wilde takes the cake.

Not long ago, Olivia was quoted as saying that her 8-year marriage to filmmaker Tao Ruspoli “stunted” her growth, and now she has opened up about the divorce that followed that failed marriage, revealing that at one point it felt like her “vagina died.”

Monday night, the 28-year-old actress attended a Glamour Magazine-hosted event at Joe’s Pub in NYC called “These Girls” which featured various women performing monologues. One of those ladies was Wilde who gave her own colorful monologue in which she spoke about the struggles of divorce.

She said of the painful ordeal, “I felt like my vagina died. Turned off. Lights out … And you can lie to your relatives at Christmas dinner and tell them everything on the home front is just peachy. But you cannot lie to your vagina.”

That’s just the tip of the iceberg with Wilde’s monologue. Honestly, you’ve got to read the rest of the craziness over at Jezebel. Seriously, do it. She talks about her idea of “relationship utopia” which includes but is not limited to, staying with the one you love no more than seven years, hiring them hookers to sleep with, and streets paved with chocolate. It’s insanity, but fun.

In other Wilde news, the actress, who is currently dating funnyman Jason Sudeikis, claims her and her dude like to get..it..on…like A LOT. She says she and Sudeikis, whom she reveals she’s “blissfully, hopefully, wildly in love” with, like to “have sex like Kenyan marathon runners.”

Good for them and good to know!
