Sir Richard Branson is a man of many talents, most notably one of the world’s most successful tycoons, but did you know that he’s got some serious DJ skills? Well, maybe he can work on them, but what better person to learn from than someone like Skrillex?
There’s some footage that was recently released of Mr. Branson taking in some DJ knowledge thanks to the likes of Skrillex backstage at the Virgin Mobile FreeFest in Baltimore last weekend, and we’ve got the fun clip for you here.
According to NME, 24-year-old Skrillex, whose a multi-talented dude himself (DJ, music producer, singer and guitarist), has been turned into a computer-animated Disney character for a cameo role in the upcoming 3D film Wreck-It Ralph. (He’ll also be contributing songs to its soundtrack).
The flick, which will hit theaters on November 2, tells the tale of Wreck-It Ralph (played by John C. Reilly), an arcade game villain-turned-hero. The movie will also feature the voices of Sarah Silverman, Jane Lynch, and Jack McBrayer.
The cool thing about this movie is it’s all about the villains (I always love the villains), specifically arcade game villains, and even highlights some old-school game bad guys like the ghosts from Pac-Man, and Bowser from Super Mario Bros. Flashback fun!
Anyway, you can go ahead on watch Skrillex give Richard Branson a lesson in dubstep below. It’s short but sweet!
